Welcome to Goldstone
About Goldstone
The Dunns (Alice & Andrew) and the Jenkins (Hannah and Lewis) were great childhood friends, and out of this friendship the idea for Goldstone Camping was conceived.
Alice and Andrew wanted to breathe life into the traditional farming model by opening up some land for camping but didn't know where to start. Hannah and Lewis had the camping side of things covered thanks to their experience running Nethergong Campsite. A partnership was born.
Lower Goldstone Farm is the location, in the farming heartland of East Kent. It is a sunny, peaceful, paddock with glorious sunsets and excellent star gazing opportunities. The only noise you might hear is from the award winning Sussex Cattle in the adjacent fields or the odd rumbling tractor. You can expect tranquil, laid back, family camping with comfort and convenience an added bonus!
Pitch a tent or park your VW camper, a stone's throw from the farm's own butchers, where you can purchase hand reared meat to cook over the campfire. Food is provided by chef Tim Wilson who has a track record in some renowned private members clubs. Coffee and Breakfast is covered by Goldstone Brew, all in all making your stay on the farm a truly memorable one.
With plenty of hot showers to go round, you will start your day well and ready to explore the local area. Goldstone Camping is on the National Cycle Network with multiple routes through rural villages, roman ruins and on to the quaint market town of Sandwich (approx. 3 miles) with its secluded bay. Further afield there is Deal (approx. 10 miles) the seaside town which has gentrified at pace over the past 20 years, and Broadstairs (approx. 12 miles) with its quintessentially British chilled out seaside vibe.
